Acupuncture, originally called The Emperor’s Medicine, is designed to maintain vitality and longevity.  After all, the Emperor wanted to live long with exceptional vitality and strength!  So, along with its effectiveness in treating pain, allergies, depression, menstrual irregularities, menopausal symptoms, and so on, acupuncture facilitates optimal health as disease prevention.

My approach to Holistic Healing is to understand the big picture perspective with my Client and then treat at that level: “What is underlying the symptom or disease name?”  It may be an emotional or mental block, a nutritional deficiency or excess, an allergy, etc.  Because, until we understand and resolve the underlying cause, we will at best only manage the symptom.  I aim to help you achieve Optimal Wellness!

The treatment will include a thorough health history intake and Acupuncture.  It may also include the following:  Chinese herbal formulas, nutritional advice or supplement recommendations, guided meditation or tapping (EFT), or a homeopathic remedy recommendation or referral to my husband, Robert Field, Homeopath, or referral to another specialist or a Medical Doctor.

The initial visit will last approximately 2 ½ hours.  Follow-up visits last approximately 1 hour.

I learned the art and science of Acupuncture and Holistic Healing as an 8-year apprentice of Stephen Barr, L.Ac, in Tahoe City, California.  I have been licensed since 2003. I have extensively studied under great mentors, such as Dr. Ming Qing Zhu, the late Dr. Richard Tan, Dr. Bob Doane, and Dr Joe Dispenza.  I am licensed by the State of Nevada as a Dr. of Oriental Medicine OMD, by the State of California as a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and Nationally, as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (DOM).  I am also licensed as an Advanced Practitioner of Homeopathy in Nevada.  I have well over 500 hours of continuing education in my field of Oriental Medicine and hundreds of hours in the related fields of holistic healing.  I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your healing journey.
